The team at Penn Hill Dental based in Parkstone, Poole needed to have their website updated as they felt that some of the content had over time become outdated and also the site needed to be made responsive. The team had also updated so the website was showing outdated information. So a new photo shoot was needed to reflect the updates. The site was required to showcase the team, their skills and the dental surgery itself. A photoshoot was arranged with a locally based photgrapher called Lindsey Harris. Once this was completed a new website was build using the new photography.
Ian Henry from new business startup ‘Henners Construction’ based in Poole came to visit my design studio in Broadstone to discuss his new business venture. Ian is an established property developer based in the Dorset area having completed 2 new builds and 3 refurbishment projects. Ian’s area of specialism is in timber frame construction and would like to continue to promote these skills as timber frame builds are quick to construct & more environmentally friendly than block as they use wood which is a natural, and a carbon neutral material. Ian said he needed a logo and business branding to be designed that represented the following descriptive words; stylish, modern, innovative & passionate. Business resources including, website and email hosting, a website design, A4 letterhead template in Word and business card artwork all were required and created by Graphfix.
Lauren visited the Graphfix studio as she was in the process of setting up a new Permanent Make Up and Cosmetics business to based in Broadstone, Dorset and needed to have a logo designed. The new business name was to be Studio 163 and the brand needed to give the impression of luxury, be feminine and delicate. Lauren said she liked floral and modern patterns and particularly liked the damask look with a colour palette of grey and rose gold. This is the finalised logo produced and supplied in various graphical formats for use on dark and light backgrounds.
Jo approached Graphfix as she was in the process of setting up a new counseling service based near Wimborne. Jo needed a logo and help with the continued building of her website. On meeting Jo I heard all about her business ideas and within the discussion we discussed the ideas for her logo design. Jo presented me with a crystal humming bird ornament which carried special meaning. I took some photos of the humming bird from which I produced some outline graphic drawings and used these to produced the following logo design.
Frank Gratton from Ashtton Associates asked Graphfix to design a logo for his new Architectural Design business venture based in Wareham, Dorset. I decided to create a design that played on the A’s within the company name and use a graphical representation of a structure being erected.
Danielle from The Little Flower Truck in Bournemouth asked Graphfix to design her a logo for her new business venture. Danielle had collated a collection of visual items to show what sort of colours, textures and shapes she liked. Danielle also had the great idea of keeping a Pinterest board of graphics and logos that also appealed to her. From this we were able to get a pretty good idea of what would work for the new business logo design. Here is the finalised logo design for ‘The Little Flower Truck’.
Brent Jones is a photographer based in Wimborne, Dorset who specialises in producing stunning wedding photography. Brent needed a logo to be designed for use on his website and to use across all his marketing literature. We discussed the origin of his name Brent and Brent explained he was unsure of its origins but knew it was a type of goose. It was decided that it would be fun to incorporate the goose into his logo in some way, here is the finalised logo design.
A’Courts Hair & Beauty have recently relocated from Castlepoint in Bournemouth to a new larger salon in Christchurch, Dorset. They needed to have their website redesigned and made updateable and responsive. Graphfix produced the following layout design from the brief that the site needed to promote sustainable beauty. The client was delighted with the website layout design prouced by Graphfix as it took into consideration the style of their salon’s interior design and their new logo and colours. Graphfix and W4D worked on the project in partnership. Graphfix designed the website layout and W4D who took the layout and created a custom WordPress theme and built the finalised website.
Ali and Rob from Indigo Campers based in Poole, Dorset needed a website for their campervan hire business. The site needed to showcase each of their 3 campervans. The user needed to be able to see available booking dates, and also allow them to make bookings online.

The client was over the moon with the layout design as I took into consideration the latest styles in the fabric industry and took this into consideration when producing the website layout design.
